    A friend and former "co-worker" of mine passed away sometime this month for reasons that dont make any sense.

His name was Joe... he was only 17 years old and he wanted to be a rapper/beat specialist. Yeah yeah yeah, alot of young guys today say they want to do this but he actually had a talent for it.

He was in Atlanta at a studio and had a rap battle with an oppenent. I guess the "enemy" was jealous and got siked out because after the battle was over, joe and the guy got into it and the guy shot joe. Im not sure where he was shot, but ultimately, it killed my friend.

I dont know why, but everytime someone I know dies, I do not cry. I WANT to cry, but it never happens until maybe about a week, when it finally hits me. I cry. I bawl... I just hope his family is alright and know he is in a better place.

The other thing Im concerned about is my boyfriend. Joe was one of his BEST friends... how am I going to break the news to him? I cant be there to support him in this time of sorrow. I have no idea how to do this. I am not going to text him the news, I know for a fact that I have to call him. I just hope he doesnt lose his mind.
